Facilitators: Bronx Green-Up/The New York Botanical Garden, Green Thumb, and The Butterfly Project

 

Event Description: Learn why pollinators are so important and how you can attract them to your garden by using native plants.  (Please note: The available plants are for planting in community gardens and other public spaces.) This year's workshop will include an interactive planting activity as we assist River Garden in installing a pollinator area.  We will discuss design, soil type and choosing the right plants for your specific location.  Funding for native plants is also provided by Green Thumb.
